มทร.ธัญบุรีบริการเงินยืมฉุกเฉินแก้ปัญหานศ.ขาดเงินชั่วคราว

นายสมภพ เพชรรัตน์ รองอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล ธัญบุรี กล่าวว่า ช่วงใกล้เปิดเทอมที่จะถึงนี้ มทร.ธัญบุรี เตรียมบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนของผู้ปกครองและนักศึกษา โดยได้จัดเงินให้ยืมฉุกเฉินสำหรับนักศึกษา ซึ่งเป็นเงินที่ได้รับบริจาคจากชมรมกอล์ฟราชมงคล เพื่อให้นักศึกษายืมกรณีฉุกเฉินจำเป็นเร่งด่วน โดยกำหนดเวลาส่งใช้คืนเงินยืม ไม่คิดดอกเบี้ย จำนวน 2 แสนบาท วงเงินกู้ครั้งละไม่เกิน 5,000 บาท ต่อภาคการศึกษา

เงินให้ยืมฉุกเฉินดังกล่าว เป็นโครงการที่เกิดขึ้นตั้งแต่ปีการศึกษา 2552 เนื่องจากมหาวิทยาลัย เล็งเห็นถึงความจำเป็นของนักศึกษา ซึ่งบางคนอาจขาดเงินหมุนเวียน เกิดความจำเป็นเฉพาะหน้า ทำให้เกิดปัญหาการยืมเงินเพื่อน หรือยืมจากผู้อื่น ส่งผลให้นักศึกษาเกิดความไม่สบายใจ และอาจส่งผลกระทบต่อการเรียน

ซึ่งในปีการศึกษาที่ผ่านมา มีนักศึกษามาขอกู้เงินยืมฉุกเฉินจำนวน 43 ราย เป็นเงิน 202,270 บาท โดยนำไปเป็นค่าใช้จ่ายในการลงทะเบียนเรียน ค่าอุปกรณ์การเรียน ค่าหอพัก ทั้งนี้ เงินกู้ดังกล่าว นักศึกษาที่กู้นั้นจะต้องทำสัญญาผ่อนชำระเป็นรายเดือน ทำให้เกิดการหมุนเวียนของเงิน ส่งผลให้เพียงพอต่อการให้นักศึกษารายอื่นที่มาขอกู้

นายสมภพ กล่าวต่อว่า การที่มหาวิทยาลัยจำกัดวงเงินกู้ไม่เกิน 5,000 บาทนั้น เพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้นักศึกษานำเงินไปใช้ในทางที่ไม่เกิดประโยชน์ ที่ผ่านมานักศึกษาที่มาขอกู้ปฏิบัติตามกฎระเบียบอย่างเคร่งครัด ชำระเงินตามกำหนดของระยะเวลา ทำให้โครงการนี้ดำเนินไปได้เป็นอย่างดี และเกิดผลดีต่อนักศึกษาเอง ดังนั้นหากนักศึกษามีความจำเป็นและเดือดร้อนเรื่องเงินขอให้ปรึกษากับอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา เพื่อดำเนินการขอกู้เงินดังกล่าว แทนการไปหยิบยืมจากผู้อื่น
