"Solar village" in Thai first.

NSTDA. And the Department of Science Service (Ys.) the development of solar energy utilization in science and technology village ....

Dr. Indra Bhumirat Director National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA.) Ministry of Science and Technology, said NSTDA. And the Department of Science Service (Ys.) the development of solar energy use. interest in science and technology village. To use solar technology to benefit the community activities in the village appropriate to local people. Housing is a basic Onyx T. Hom Bamboo hibernate Wiset Chai Chan, A., Ang Thong, the village's Science. The first target area of Thailand.

The bringing solar energy utilization has been given to Institute of Solar Energy Technology (SOLARTEC) responsible for designing and installing solar panels, 56 panels, which will provide capacity power 2.5 kW in the target area that will support personnel. expertise to help transfer this technology to the community in the village with the main installation panel cell Solar cell panel to hold a trial that produced SOLARTEC actual usage conditions, Ang Thong, which areas are suitable because of strong sunlight.

NSTDA director. Said that for the solar energy Also can be used to benefit the heat or electricity then. Also used in drying agricultural products to the preservation by. And from this research and development to be installed in other villages across the country. Especially along the border villages in the wilderness. In order to reduce the country's energy and creates a form of village self-sufficient next

Mr. Kasem Director วศ Peace restored activity.'s Ministry of Science, said solar energy capacity of 2.5 kW at NSTDA. Will be installed to the community in the village of Hom Nin. Not only to produce electricity used to be sold to the Electricity Authority (PEA) in order to lessen the expense of activities in the villages, especially Onyx Rice Mill of the community.
